Welcome and thanks for stopping by! After months of waffling I’m finally taking the plunge into the blogosphere! For the last five years I’ve been writing fiction whenever I could squeeze the time inโbefore the kids woke up, nap time, while I was waiting for the chicken to roast, when I should have been cleaning the house (which, sadly, gives you a pretty good idea of my housecleaning abilities). I am happy to announce that I have accepted an offer from Aladdin M!X (an imprint of Simon and Schuster) to publish my middle grade novel, Seeing Cinderella, in the spring of 2012.
This is literally a dream come true for me, and I’m so excited to share this news with you!

Congratulations on getting published. This is an enormous accomplishment and surely the beginning of many more stories you will tell. I’m so proud of you and I love you to pieces. Congrats, my wife.
Jenny, this is fantastic!!! I can’t wait to read it!
As an employee of the American Society of Appraisers I have corresponded with your husband on Twitter many times. I remember when he was researching a mac for you! Anyways he sent a Tweet about your accomplishment and I wanted to come by and say congratulations! What awesome news, I look forward to reading it!

Congratulations Jenny! This is definitely exciting and I’m proud of you. I wish it wasn’t going to be so long before your book comes out but I suppose that it will be here before we know it. I’m going to book mark you and I look forward to reading more on your blog!

Congratulations daughter! We are so proud of you. You have worked so hard trying to juggle your writing and caring for your family. Hope this is the first of many successes for you. Looking forward to receiving a signed copy of your book.
So stoked for you! This is awesome and I am so proud of you! Hope you take this at it’s magnitude and unserstand just how talented your Maker made you! Love you tons!
Congratulations on being published! Your book sounds terrific. Goodness knows, I could have used a pair of magic glasses when I was in 7th grade. My shy, geeky 13 year old self could have used the help navigating the social aspects of middle school!
I look forward to reading your book, as well as buying copies for my grandchildren.
Thanks so much Bonnie! My geeky 13-year-old could have used the glasses too. What am I saying, could still use them :0)
This is awesome news, Jenny. I’m so excited to hear about this. Congrats!
woohoo!
Gee, Jenny, sounds like that will closely coincide with my granddaughter starting 7th grade. I see a book for a gift in her future.
Soooo, proud of you Jen! Can’t wait to get my copy of the book next spring so that you can autograph it!
